The One I Need

I've been called a lot of things in my life.

Izzy to friends. Elizabeth to my family. A witch, and another word that rhymes with it, from male business executives who I run out of boardrooms.

But never did I ever think I'd be called a wife.

That would mean I got married. Which would mean I fell in love. None of those were on my to-do list.

Then I met Oliver Price.

First known as the perfect one-night stand.

Then known as the man who I put in the friend zone, but seems happy to be there.

That quickly turned into us being travel companions to Las Vegas.

And now? We're husband and wife.

And yes we kissed…oh my did we kiss…

This is all wrong. I never wanted to get married, let alone to a man who's my complete opposite.

I'm glass-half-empty and power suits. He's glass-half-full and crazy colored socks.

I think love is for suckers. He believes in the happy ever after.

I want a divorce. He doesn't.

A problem for all newlyweds, right? 

There's just one problem: We have to stay married for sixty days. Thanks state of Tennessee.

It's fine. This isn't a real marriage. I'll just wait it out.

There's just one problem—Oliver is bound and determined to show me how great we can be.

Okay, two problems—the more we stay married, the more I think I want to stay that way.

I didn't think I wanted this. But the more I stay Mrs. Oliver Price, I'm wondering if this is the name I was always supposed to be?
